Mohan, propelled by her determination and devotion materialized into reality on 2nd July 2001, when Deepansh Shiksha Kendra took its firm first step to wipe out poverty - illiteracy and has emerged a crusader of literacy and a messenger of knowledge.

KOSHISH VOCATIONAL CENTER.
Koshish vocational Center was initiated  with the aim to enable mothers of students of Deepansh to learn skills that would help them earn  their livelihood and in the short span of time it has shown  that the school is taking  steps in the right direction however humble, to enhance  the quality of living of the marginalized section of society. The school has a good number of sewing machines and a professional staff to teach them the skills of designing and tailoring. The classes are being conducted regularly and the women will soon graduate with a sewing course certificate.

"Man grows beyond his work and emerges  ahead of his accomplishments". - John Steinbeck Kurra village nestles amongst the sloping meadows about 20 km away from Bokaro Steel City. The Kurra Village School  was adopted for academic purposes  and regular visits are being made by the staff and  students.
